About T.H.E. Aggregate Source

The Aggregate Source is a large granite quarry located on the west side of Canon City, Colorado.  The family owned and operated quarry was purchased in 1993 by Ed and Danny Tezak.  Their primary purpose was to insure the quality and quantity of riprap products needed on construction products being performed by Tezak Heavy Equipment Co., Inc.  It wasn’t long before the word got out about the quality of the material being produced.  The rest is history.

Rock production is done by means of drilling and blasting from the large granite face.  From this raw state it is sorted by mechanical means which starts with a unique Rock Master™ Riprap plant that separates rock from the pit run material greater than six inches.  The remaining material is then sent to a cone crusher and screen decks to produce the desired sizes and gradations required for projects throughout Colorado.  The result is a 100% fractured red and gray granite aggregate that is used in various types of construction projects including stream bank protection, landscaping, asphalt and concrete products.

There is no order too large or small.  We will be happy to assist you on any project of any size.  We pride ourselves on our customer service and a great product.  Feel free to browse through our products.  Don’t forget we deliver, call us today for prices for your area.
